Role Overview

The successful applicant will perform high-level IT activities including assessing current IT environments, evaluating software, and producing detailed client deliverables. This role combines technical analysis, process improvement, and solution design to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the current IT environment, including collecting data and identifying information sources.
• Evaluate IT architecture and develop an understanding of organizational and data governance frameworks.
• Evaluate vendor-supplied software, studying user objectives and testing compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
• Prepare IT gaps analysis and recommendations report.
• Develop IT roadmap and infrastructure requirements.
• Produce client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well-documented phasing plans.
• Gain understanding of unique business and technical requirements for each engagement to facilitate the most appropriate solution design.
• Implement process improvements and provide guidance on software maintenance, software testing, network design, load balancing, and scalability.
• Manage vendor relationships and optimize software, network, and database performance.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated IT knowledge and skills.

• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and client deliverables.
