Deloitte |AFS CoE Analyst
Overview
As an AFS CoE Analyst, you will work in Deloitte’s Audit Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Annual Financial Statements, contributing to audit delivery for a variety of national and international clients. You will gain exposure to audit quality practices and support audit teams by performing selected substantive tasks from the CoE.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform selected audit activities as part of delivering high-quality financial statement audits in line with local accounting standards.
- Support onsite audit teams with audit work and follow-up.
- Use audit software and tools effectively during audit processes.
- Apply working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Communicate findings and insights promptly to onsite teams.
- Provide training, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching to junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting/Finance (e.g., BCom Accounting) or an undergraduate qualification specialising in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- Analyst Level 1: Approximately 12 months’ experience in audit or accounting and Delivery Centre work.
- Analyst Level 2: Approximately 18 months’ experience in audit or accounting and Delivery Centre work.
