Overview
The IT Graduate will learn, grow, and develop skills and competencies while gaining practical experience within their respective business clusters. Graduates will contribute proactively to the effective functioning of the division through projects and initiatives.
Purpose of the Role
- Develop foundational skills in IT support, analysis, and application development.
- Participate in projects that enhance business processes and service delivery.
- Support business objectives by providing reliable, high-quality assistance to teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Be cost-aware and reduce non-value-adding work and waste.
- Deliver tasks on time and meet quality standards agreed with management.
- Contribute to culture-building initiatives and transformation goals.
- Support corporate social responsibility and business strategy objectives.
- Research and recommend business process improvements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are achieved.
- Maintain high professionalism in all presentations and interactions.
- Provide updates and feedback to team leaders and supervisors.
- Identify training and career progression opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge management and share expertise with the team.
Minimum Requirements / Eligibility
- Advanced Diploma or National First Degree (NQF Level)
- Relevant Degree/Diploma/Equivalent preferred
- Minimum experience: 0 to 3 months
- Technical knowledge: Business writing, data analysis, Microsoft Office, relevant regulatory knowledge, and operating systems
