Overview
The IT Graduate will provide technical support under the guidance of the IT Administration Team and Project Manager. The role includes assisting with system administration tasks and contributing to the improvement of the organisationโs digital tools, Management Information Systems (MIS), data integrity, and overall technology infrastructure.
This programme is designed to develop strong foundational skills in IT support, systems management, cybersecurity awareness, and data reporting, while delivering responsive and reliable technical services to internal departments.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Prior internship or practical experience is advantageous but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, or Teams.
Knowledge and Skills
Technical
- Understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers).
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and good digital hygiene.

Principal Accountabilities
IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide support to staff on hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Systems Administration
- Assist with account creation, user access control, and permission changes.
- Support routine system maintenance, including updates, backups, and patching.
- Monitor basic system performance and escalate potential issues.
- Maintain shared drives, collaboration tools, and internal platforms.
Data & Reporting Support
- Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and basic analysis for reports.
- Support troubleshooting of internal systems or dashboards.
- Conduct routine data quality checks and highlight inconsistencies.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Apply basic cybersecurity practices and monitor for suspicious activity.
- Ensure devices meet required security standards.
- Support IT audits and compliance checks (password controls, backups, user access).
- Educate staff on safe technology use and data protection policies.
Project & Administrative Support
- Contribute to IT projects such as system rollouts, software implementations, or upgrades.
- Assist in creating training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
- Maintain inventory of IT supplies and coordinate with vendors and shared service providers.
