Key Responsibilities

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

• Design and execute test cases for business and system requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing where applicable
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
• Perform regression and integration testing

Test Planning & Documentation

• Develop test scenarios and test scripts
• Prepare test data for execution
• Maintain test documentation and reporting
• Estimate testing scope and effort

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with developers, system analysts, and business analysts
• Liaise with project managers and IT teams on issues and risks
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes

Data & System Analysis

• Extract and validate data using SQL queries
• Support system and data integrity checks
• Assist in analysing incidents and identifying trends

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
• Completed Diploma or Degree in a relevant business or IT-related field
• Unemployed graduates preferred
• Limited or no prior work experience required
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (advantageous)

Technical Skills

• Basic SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Understanding of software testing principles
