Overview

The Servicing Administrator Internship at Discovery Invest provides a structured entry point into the administration and support of investment products within a leading financial services company. This role exposes interns to both client-facing interactions and back-office administration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this internship is to administer all Discovery Invest products and provide exceptional service to policyholders, financial advisors, and franchises. Interns will gain hands-on experience in managing queries, processing payments, and supporting system implementations.

Focus Areas / Key Responsibilities

• Administer all Discovery Invest products.
• Handle telephonic and email queries from policyholders, financial advisors, franchises, and third parties.
• Liaise with clients and franchises to obtain outstanding requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and report on workloads to meet daily targets.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and business rules.
• Assist with testing and system implementations.
• Process all claims received before 10:00 AM prior to the 12:30 PM batch run.
• Answer calls within 20 seconds (before the 3rd ring).
• Capture escalated claims for authorization.
• Read all Pinpoint Alerts daily.
• Update Paradigm notes for all completed work.
• Serve as backup for the Maturities Team.
• Maintain low error rates in rejections, fixes, and QA processes.
• Adhere to call and query SLAs and manage breaks according to schedule.

Minimum Requirements / Eligibility

• Completed Matric (Grade 12).
• Relevant degree or advanced studies (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
