The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) invites qualifying students to apply for the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Programme for the 2026/27 cycle. This structured programme provides workplace exposure required to complete academic qualifications.

The programme is designed to provide structured, practical workplace experience to students whose qualifications include Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) as a compulsory requirement. It bridges academic learning with real-world work experience.

Minimum Requirements / Eligibility
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must be unemployed.
- Must be registered with a recognised South African higher education institution.
- Qualification must include Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) as a compulsory component.
- Must provide an official letter from the institution confirming the WIL requirement and duration.

- Preference will be given to people living with disabilities.
- Preference will be given in line with SITAβs Employment Equity Plan.
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA.
- Appointment is subject to security clearance and verification processes.
