  • Mathematics: HG E or SG D
  • Minimum aggregate of 950 marks or higher
  • Computer Literacy recommended

National Vocational Certificate (NCV)

  • English: Level 5
  • Life Sciences or Physical Science: Level 4
  • Mathematics: Level 4 OR Mathematical Literacy: Level 5
  • Minimum 24 APS points (25 if Mathematical Literacy is used)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet requirements may apply via RPL if they:

  • Are 25 years or older
  • Have at least 5 years healthcare experience
  • Are registered as BAA or AEA with HPCSA
  • Pass RPL assessment (theory and clinical)
