Purpose of the Learnership
The purpose of this programme is to equip unemployed youth with both theoretical knowledge and practical retail experience, preparing them for future employment opportunities within the wholesale and retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine stock to be merchandised in stores
- Draw stock requirements and manage replenishment needs
- Check product quality, shelf life, pricing, and stock rotation
- Execute merchandising activities according to cycle briefs
- Provide feedback on customer queries and complaints
- Maintain knowledge of products and promotions
- Record merchandising activities accurately
- Execute store calls as per schedule
- Report out-of-stock items to the RSM
Minimum Requirements
- Must be between 18 and 28 years old
- Must have completed Matric (National Senior Certificate)
- No prior work experience required
- Must be willing to learn and grow in a professional environment
- Must be based in Delft or surrounding areas
