Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa is inviting applications from unemployed individuals for its Manufacturing Production Learnership based in Silverton, Pretoria.

This 12-month fixed-term learnership offers an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing while completing structured workplace training aligned with the learnership qualification and company requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Complete institutional and on-the-job training in line with the learnership qualification and company requirements.
• Support business objectives in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Delivery by following standard workplace training.
• Learn to use tools and equipment for specific and specialised process functions.
• Follow workplace timeframes and procedures.
• Suggest process improvements to make business processes more efficient.
• Support production operations.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors.
• Work with integrity and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Complete an approved training programme as required by FMCSA and MerSETA/QCTO.
• Follow a set training schedule to achieve competency.
• Complete the learnership within the required period.
• Rotate across shifts to gain more exposure during the training period.

Minimum Requirements

• Have a Grade 12/Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics and English.
• Be unemployed.
• Be under 35 years of age in 2027.
