Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire Bursary

Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (Pty) Ltd (Bakwena) is responsible for constructing, managing, upgrading, and maintaining safe and reliable road infrastructure along the N1 and N4 corridor.

Bakwena offers a limited number of bursaries to eligible university students who are in their second year of study or above. The programme aims to provide financial assistance to qualifying students pursuing their university qualifications.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Bakwena Bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be registered at a South African university.
• Must be in their second year of study or above.
• Preferably reside within 6 km of the Bakwena N1/N4 route.
• Must have a minimum overall university academic average of 60%.
• Must complete the application form in full and submit all required supporting documentation.

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

• A motivation letter explaining why you are applying for the bursary.
• Certified copies of your first-year university academic results.
• A certified copy of your South African ID document.
